Man what a big job!!!!

So the basement apartment at the bottom of the used car lot that is our drive way became available (sadly because Becky moved) but anyway Stacey decided to move in! And seriously how great is that?!!! Well we did a walk through and decided that some stuff just had to go! So we got some paint and cleaning stuff and started working um....we worked all weekend long plus some nights and are still not done, but you will die once you see the after pics! So I thought it would be fun to post how nasty it started and I will put the finished product as soon as it gets finished...lol!
We did have alot of fun we feel, dropped paint in our hair and eyes, and ran from a ton of spiders. At least we talked Romster into cleaning the carpets and laying some pergo cause some stuff we just would rather not do! But it has been all girl power in this construction site!!

Halloween!

Halloween was way fun this year! I got a very nice co-worker to work his least favorite place dun dun dun....Recovery....for me so that I could spend the day with the kids. Stacey and I went to Hay's school to watch her Halloween parade then took the kids to get pics (I will put up later...Go U!!!) anyways then went to my parents to celebrate my turning the big 28. The kids loved trick or treating although they gave up on it pretty fast. Here are some pics of the day...

I have been tagged!!!

Okay, I've been tagged by Sara. So here goes....
The Rules: Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours. Tag 6 fellow bloggers by linking them.
Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger's blogs letting them know they've been tagged.

Lol this is going to be tough since I have no unspectacular quirks :) just kidding!

1. DIET COKE! I love it! it is terrible for me and I don't even care. I could give up chocolate (not with out a fight lol), candy, chips but not my diet Coke!

2. I am a closet Brittany Spears lover! I love to listen to her music when I work out I don't know why but I just do :)

3. Just like Sara...I LOVE watching The Hills. I will watch it over and over and the premier shows. I get made fun of by everyone I know esp Melody but I don't care I am hooked! Hey Sara we should watch it together!!

4.I am totally a mamas girl! Any doctors appt. my mom has to be there! It is not negotiable!

5. I do not diet I eat what ever I want but for some reason I am obsessed with counting my calories (even if its like 3000) and weighing myself everyday. It drives everyone crazy but I just have to do it...not sure why????

6. I love photography I take pictures of everything, and not just one but like 3 or 4 pictures of the same thing, my philosophy is that if you take like five one is bound to be a great one! My camera goes everywhere with my...it is my third child! I need to ease up on the pics so I can get the girls scrapbooks caught up :)

First day of kindergarten

This past Tuesday was Haylee's first day of Kindergarten. She was so excited she was dressed and ready hours before it was even time to leave. I took the day off so that it would be easier for her to have mommy take her well...she got there and was acting so big she did not need her mom she was so ready, I got teary knowing that my little Haylee was becoming a big girl. I guess it was better then her crying and clinging to my leg but man it sucked that she is getting older and needing me less and less. So the teacher lines the kids up and tells them to go into the classroom and choose a seat, so I watch them all go in and I peek to see where she sat lol big surprise she chose the table with all boys! She even came home with a crush on a boy!! My little Hay is now my big Hay :)

Rabbits, Bugs, and Fish...Oh my!

While my camera was gone being fixed I missed capturing me and Stacey's adventures lol! One day on our way out to dinner I saw a rabbit in the yard and so me, Stace, Mel, and Mike went after it. It was so funny to watch Mike tackle the poor rabbit like it was a football player he was trying to take out. The kids were sad to find out the the rabbit belonged to our neighbors :( so we gave him back.

I went to put Hay to bed (she had fallen asleep on the couch) I went to grab her and there was a praying mantis just chillin on her so I caught it for her then kept it to show her in the morning...she thought he was the coolest! but we decided to show Chace then put him in the garden....But not before Stacey got to play with him LOL!

We have a new addition to our family....Fabio Dori Smith....Hay's fish! I'm way too nice of a parent! I don't like having animals, the kids are enough mess for me!

work work and more work!

It has been a couple weeks since updating my blog...I forgot how much work goes into working! After a couple weeks of job hunting I was offered a position at Utah Pain Specialists. Going back after being home for so long was terrifying! Can I work 10 hour days? Will my girls be ok? How will Hay get to school? You know all the things that mothers worry about but so far between Grandma and Stacey we have all worked it out. After a few days into working Olivia decided she was mad at me and has given me the cold shoulder since :( She wont even look at me in the mornings and when I try to kiss her she turns away. Hay has adjusted pretty good but for most of her life I worked so she knows the drill.

So I really like it there, and the 10 hours goes by pretty quick....the bad thing is that I am always hungry and I don't get time to munch all day lol! Right now I am working in procedures...WOW! It is a really cool place to be, so hopefully I continue to enjoy it there and I get a huge raise :)

Any ideas?

Anyone who knows me knows that I have the WORST taste in men, no lie! If you are the scum of the earth with no morals, standards, money, car, place to live, or are not honest well...I will love you well....would have, those days are in the past I have fine tuned my looser radar and do not waste my time any longer with such dirt balls...I know so everyone cheers!!!!

So even though I don't allow myself to be around that kind of person I am still stuck with two huge BUTTHEADS and I need some ideas or tips on helping my Olivia deal with the fact she was left by her looser dad who does not mind not helping in any way with her current life or future, and then helping Haylee with the fact that her nasty dad is around :(

So my latest Justin drama is that he told Hay to her face that he never wanted to see her again, what kind of terrible person says such hurtful things to their own child? How do you deal with this situation the right way that is best for the child? I have chosen to put her into counselling but as a mother how do you explain this????

Any ideas?

What a sad sad day!

Ok so my camera (my third child) is in the shop! I am going crazy without it! I see all these photo ops and am not able to catch them :( just another week in a half!

Great News!

I have decided to go back to work :) I love being home and am so lucky to have been able to stay home with my girls BUT...I miss adult interaction and feeling accomplished and productive! After two weeks of applying and interviewing I have finally picked an offer and I am so excited to get started! I think it will be good for both me and the girlies! Anyways just thought I would share the good news :)
